I have am going on 33 weeks on air with my radio show called Turbulence, airing Saturdays on Hot 100.5 FM reaching all of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I have been recognized in local publications as being a leader and expert for the House and EDM genres in Hampton Roads.

Current residencies include 2 years at Central 111, Virginia Beach – one of the longest running and most respected house music venues in southern Virginia as well as Granby Theater in Norfolk Virginia, the largest club in the area and playing an intricate role in educating and exposing the area to house music. Upcoming achievements include the opportunity to open for Grube & Hovespian( Cold Harbour Recordings) and Robbie Rivera at my monthly residency at Granby Theater in Norfolk. Outside of these venues I have become a summer staple in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with consistent summer bookings as well as bookings from Raleigh, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

Kevin Bell: My preferred style is house electro, really anything with a groove

Muzik Lounge: Were your self-taught or did someone teach you how to djay?

Kevin Bell: Currently I use a Pioneer DDJ-T1 controller w/ Macbook Pro, eventually i’ll get back to a full CDJ/DJM set up but right now its not too necessary.

Kevin Bell: Favorite Dj’s would be Laidback Luke, Charles Feelgood and myself haha

Muzik Lounge: If you could face-off with any DJ, who would it be?
Kevin Bell: A couple people out of Richmond, VA. Some one has to pop their bubble lol
